The Northern Virginia Hockey Club (NoVA Ice Dogs) is a local, family-friendly organization offering competitive and developmental hockey for boys and girls ages 5-18.

Historically, the Ice Dogs offer travel and recreation level hockey for coed and girls’ teams, as well as Learn to Play sessions. For the 2023-24 season, we have had to limit our program offerings while our “home” rink is under renovations. We anticipate returning to a full slate of programming when Mount Vernon ReCenter reopens in 2025.

As a non-profit, volunteer-run organization skating out of public rinks, the Ice Dogs represent one of the most affordable and accessible quality hockey experiences in the DMV.
