TRAVEL TRYOUTS & 2025-26 SEASON

Tryout registration for Ice Dogs’ 2025-2026 Co-ed CBHL and Girls CBHL 10U/12U programs is now open!

For the 2025-26 season, we look forward to returning to the NEW Mount Vernon double-sheet rink in Alexandria, VA, and adding CBHL travel teams and Learn-to-Play to our ongoing CCHL and Girls’ hockey programs! 2024-2025 SEASON

For the 2024-25 season, the Ice Dogs’ coed teams are competing in the Capital Corridor Hockey League (CCHL). We anticipate returning travel-level teams to the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League (CBHL) when the Mount Vernon ReCenter rink reopens.

CCHL "Rec" Hockey

CCHL is a recreational youth hockey league. Teams are open to players of all levels who have basic hockey skills. Registration opens in June for the September-February season.

For the 2024-25 season, CCHL players have one weeknight practice at Tucker Road Ice Arena, and one game per weekend, with a final tournament in March. Games are played against clubs located throughout Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland; the CCHL tournament is often held in Frederick, MD; Ice World; or Haymarket, VA.

All Ice Dogs CCHL teams (10U-18U) are currently full for 2024-25. Anyone interested in the Ice Dogs is welcome to add their name to the WAITLIST HERE.
