For the 2025-26 season, we look forward to returning to the NEW Mount Vernon double-sheet rink in Alexandria, VA, and adding CBHL travel teams and Learn-to-Play to our ongoing CCHL and Girls’ hockey programs!
CBHL (Travel) Tryouts
Tryout registration for Ice Dogs’ 2025-2026 Co-ed CBHL and Girls CBHL 10U/12U programs is now open!
10U/12U CO-ED TRAVEL TRYOUTS

- Saturday, March 15th, 4:30pm-6:15pm
- Sunday, March 16th, 3:30pm-4:45pm
- Tryout Fee: $85
- Tryout Location: Tucker Road Ice Rink

10U/12U GIRLS TRAVEL TRYOUTS
- Date: Sunday, March 23rd
- Time: 11:30am-12:45pm
- Tryout Fee: $50

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Tryouts for 14U-18U Co-ed CBHL teams will be April 26 & 27 and 14U-19U Girls CBHL teams will be May 1 & 4. Registration will open soon.
Registration for CCHL (“Rec”) hockey will open later this spring.

Spring Hockey
This season, the Ice Dogs will offer the following two programs. All spring hockey sessions will be held at Tucker Road Ice Rink.
Girls' 10U-19U Program:
Traditional spring season program with Tuesday night skills sessions and Sundays scrimmages.
- Two 75-minute sessions/week: Tuesdays 7:30pm and Sunday 3pm
- Dates: 4/1 through 5/20 (no skate 4/20 or 4/27)
- Cost: $400 (Goalies: Free! Siblings: 10% discount)
