ABOUT THE ICE DOGS
For almost 50 years, the Northern Virginia Hockey Club has been a foundation of youth hockey in our area. Generations of local “Ice Dog” families have participated in our exceptional brand of fun, competitive, and family-friendly hockey. Even as we have weathered significant challenges in the last few years, with rinks closing due to pandemic and renovations, our community has stayed strong. As we return to our home at the newly renovated Mount Vernon ice rink, we are poised to regrow our programs and expand that community. We invite you to be a part of our exceptional local youth program by offering your support.
The NVHC is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization focused on making ice hockey accessible, affordable and fun for Northern Virginia families. Our programs include opportunities for boys and girls ages 5-19, at all levels of skill and commitment. This year, we will welcome more than 350 kids across our programs, and we’ll reach more than 1,000 followers on Facebook and Instagram.
